Costing
Cost Change General Ledger Synchronization
Standard BPCS cost changes and cost roll-ups change the accounting
cost. But you still have the headache of manually posting journals
to account for the variance caused by the 'before' and 'after' cost
change over the 'stock on hand' balances.
This
is now fixed, and can be posted in total, or separately by material,
labour and overhead components. It can also post a single variance
figure per item, or a separate variance for each location at which
inventory is encountered (if you are maintaining Inventory accounts
in General Ledger at a location level).
General
Ledger transactions can be posted from:
· Cost Maintenance
· Cost Roll-ups
· Cost Transfers
